DIGITALE KOMPETENZEN IN DER LEHRE

Digitale Kompetenzen in der Lehre steigern nicht nur die Attraktivität der Lehrberufe, sondern sichern auch eine erfolgreiche Zukunft der Betriebe in allen Wirtschaftsbereichen vom Gewerbe und Handwerk bis hin zur Industrie und IKT-Branche. Aus diesem Grund hat die Wirtschaftskammer Oberösterreich in Zusammenarbeit mit dem EdTech Unternehmen apprentigo einen Lehrlingshackathon ins Leben gerufen, um die Begeisterung für die IKT-Kompetenzen und das Gestalten mit digitalen Tools bei den Lehrlingen aller Lehrberufe zu fördern.

Die Lehrlinge von heute sind die Fachkräfte von morgen! Gerade die Lehre ist und bleibt ein krisensicherer, zukunftssicherer und stets topaktueller Ausbildungsweg für die jungen Talente in Österreich.

Innovative Lehrlingsausbildung

Der Lehrlingshackathon Oberösterreich hat am 28. Juni 2022 als Online Live-Event stattgefunden. Eingeladen waren Lehrlinge aller Lehrberufe im Alter zwischen 15 und 30 Jahren. Gefördert waren Lehrlinge mit aufrechtem Lehrvertrag in Lehrbetrieben.

Während diesem Event arbeiteten die teilnehmenden Lehrlinge kollaborativ in Teams und entwickelten einen digitalen App-Prototypen für das Unternehmen, die Region oder die Welt. Am Ende war der fertige Prototyp als Projekt über die Lehrlingshackathon-Plattform eingereicht. Die besten Projekte wurden zur Teilnahme am Bundes-Lehrlingshackathons am WKO Coding Day im November 2022 eingeladen.

Damit junge Menschen die Chancen der Digitalisierung nutzen können, ist digitales Know-how die Grundvoraussetzung. Mit dem Lehrlingshackathon will die WKO Oberösterreich genau hier ansetzen und den Jugendlichen die Möglichkeit bieten ihre digitalen Skills unter Beweis zu stellen. Der Lehrlingshackathon soll Lust auf IT-Berufe machen, innovative Projekte anstoßen und kreative Köpfe zusammenbringen.

Durch die Teilnahme am Lehrlingshackathon wurde für unsere Mitarbeiterinnen in Ausbildung die Thematik „Coding“ niederschwellig erlebbar. Sie hatten die großartige Möglichkeit, in eine neue Erfahrungswelt einzutauchen und können nun ihre gewonnenen Erkenntnisse im eigenen Unternehmen einbringen.

Kurz gesagt, war es für mich eine super Erfahrung, und ich bereue es auf keinen Fall mitgemacht zu haben. Ich würde diese Entscheidung immer wieder treffen. Ich kann es nur jedem Lehrling empfehlen, sich für nächstes Jahr anzumelden, da man nicht immer so eine Chance bekommt und es mal eine Abwechslung zum Berufsalltag und den täglichen Aufgaben ist.

Das Event war ein echtes Highlight für uns im laufenden Lehrjahr. Unglaublich gelungen finde ich das angebotene Format, das auch IT-fremden Personen den Zugang zur Thematik der App-Entwicklung ermöglicht. Es ist einerseits eine Abwechslung für die Lehrlinge, andererseits aber auch eine Riesenmöglichkeit für die Ausbildungsverantwortlichen neue Stärken der Schützlinge zu entdecken.
